Psychotherapy In Auckland

Psychotherapy in Auckland is a private practice offering online psychotherapy for individuals and couples for a range of issues. The business had an existing website built with WordPress. They wanted a website refresh, so I decided to start again with Webflow. They also wanted a rebrand including their logo design.
The key requirement was to keep the brand warm and professional. There were some interesting limitations due to the nature of the business. I couldn’t include client feedback or quotes due to confidentiality but the website still needed to build a lot of trust with visitors. Also, Penelope, the Psychotherapist who owned the business didn’t want to be front and centre with a photo on the home page but we still had to help potential clients feel a connection to her and built a sense of trust in her area of expertise. I enjoyed playing with a concept for the website around colour. The website appeared monochromatic on first view, then as the user explored each page, the colour became slowly brighter, images more chromatic. Hinting at the process of therapy slowly bringing colour and vibrancy into peoples lives.
